    Congratulations Essenbe new Microsoft MVP!


    I just heard from Rayda (2xg) that Steve (Essenbe) was awarded Microsoft MVP today. Steve's continuous contributions here in support of MS' wildly successful OS are always excellent and on-point. He has been a go-to guy on hardware issues as far back as I can remember.

    Ray and I have worked hard to get new awardees even though the slots are tightly limited for Consumer Expert. We were greatly assisted by our MVP Lead JP Clementi who went to bat for several of our nominees.

    However those we nominated from other regions with other leads are still waiting for recognition. For this reason Ray, I and MS' top forum's poster Rob Brown will seek out and meet those regions' leads at next month's Global MVP Summit in Seattle to let them know who these nominees are.

    Meanwhile we learned yesterday that our lead is being promoted so we will soon be having a new Lead.

    Congratulations Steve. Keep up the good work. Hope you can make it to Summit Nov 2-6. It is an exciting break.

    Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it and thanks to Ray and Greg for their Support. If anyone deserves any credit for me receiving this award, it goes to all of the Guru's and Geeks here that taught me what little I know, and to John and Shawn for running the best help forums on the Internet. Just knowing where Shawn's Tutorials are will make anyone look smarter than they really are. Thanks again.

I keep getting these "You just won" audio messages at random, every few minute or so. It's only started today. What can I do to make them stop?
