Security apps are a joke on android. Do not fall for them. There just there to make money.

They are not effective at all at removing malware from an android device. If you stick to the google play store, do not sideload apps and read the permissions of the app before installing it you will be fine.

I prefer to actually modify my device as I see fit, others just want it to work. Different strokes for different folks.

Ok mate I will look at that one too as I was thinking of the Kaspersky one as all my machines run Kaspersky - they do a stand alone version if it is as good as the ISS then it should be safe well as possible as that is Kaspersky Internet Security for Android | Android Antivirus Software | Kaspersky Lab but I would like the MBAM as it does "play" with Kaspersky ok.

The provider told me Google build in some security but I am thinking maybe it will be a bit light on. But like I aid I will definitely look at the MBAM.

Why not take a look at the OnePlus One?

Sorrymate have already got the S5 and so far am really impressed and got my Kaspersky Android security for it today:)
