Get well soon all 3 of you. I'm lucky that I have no ailments as of yet. A sore back on occasion, and need reading glasses for tiny print. Don't take any meds at all beyond an aspirin or advil every so often. Knock wood. A Guy

You're on the same as my John, he's on Metformin but he also has to take a daily injection, not insulin but it's to help keep his blood sugar down. Mind you he's another that will rattle if shaken, he's got diabetes, asthma and blood problems.
We could start our own chemist shop here if we wanted to.

    You take care.:)

Will do Joan. Hopefully the Metaformin will be enough for me. I don't fancy injections.

Been spared the diabetes curse so far, but its still there, like a Sword of Damocles over my head, because it runs on my Mom's side of the family.
The only med I have right now is Benicar HCT for my blood pressure. I nearly got off of it when I lost about 30 pounds a couple years back, but then Life hit the air conditioner and I gain it all back.

I don't know where mine came from. It doesn't run in the family and I'm not particularly overweight.

Johns Dad had it but with both of them it was age related so neither of them had it until they were in their late 50's. He's not what you'd call overweight, doctors are happy with it at present if he goes down too much it makes him ill. He sticks to around 14st, he's 5' 10" and stocky.

Mine is age related too Joan. I just made it to 70 before it was diagnosed.

John will be 66 next January and all his problems have developed in the last few years.

Don't you just love growing old, at least we're alive and can still laugh about things so it can't all be bad.
