You're correct not too badly priced I would just hate it if I paid that much and it sounded like a old time typewriter

Well I RMA'd my Q9550 cpu this morning so Acer is out of commission for I'd guess 2 weeks

14c difference in core temps was really weird :/
I would expect only 4-5 maybe.

If the program is reading correctly 14C difference is way to much.
That puppy needed to be de-capped but one wouldn't do that if it can be RMA.

Really odd when the key board has has the numbers keypad
I don't use the numbers keypad but in business for data entry the numbers keypad can be important for fast numeric entry.
It's just a personal preference but an (active:)) illuminated keyboard would drive me nuts.

Yep 2 year policy on RMA so unless it's a crock and they just send me back the same cpu which I did take a picture of it so I will know if they do :)
    Figured why wait :/

Yea I've read businesses like to use caps lock a lot just for the upper case is already good to go and the keypad does the rest if they need numbers.

Today........ I broke down on I-10 in the middle of downtown Houston, Texas during rush hour. Any Texans or anyone who's ever driven that section of Interstate knows what a nightmare that was. After a (very)short talk with an extremely rude tow truck driver, who drove off and left me btw (on the INSIDE emergency lane) a very nice Houstonian towed me to a repair shop so I could get my van fixed. My hats off to the repair shop people, who stayed late at work to get me on the road again, and the very nice good Samaritan who stopped in a VERY bad place to aid me. This isn't my picture but will give you an idea of where I was at. Just around the bend at the far right sorta by the dark building. Bear in mind this picture is old and wasn't taken during rush hour, at least I don't think it was. Thank you again to the good people who helped me. San Antonio , here I come!

Too bad there are no modern trains that are 4 times faster than cars. Then the highways would not be as congested as they are now.

People in many countries like the "privacy" of their metal cocoon door to sort of door even if they are stuck in congested traffic. Then look at NY. Public transport and taxis are widely used and people commuting from NJ into NY Manhattan would typically use public transport.

This is a restaurant in one of the Paris train stations - not cheap.
