    What were the sixties?
They just weren't as good as the seventies.
I'll vouch for that, the sixties for me meant marriage and a couple of kids so no time for fun. The seventies meant a divorce a bit of fun and a better second marriage.

Firstly, thank you for previous welcome A Guy.

For ourselves, the 40‘s were wonderful and apart from a few 'blips' succeeding years just got better. (Got our 25p per week pension increase as well). :)

Some thunderbolts ceased out electricity for about two days.

Monsoon arrived at late, but devastatingly.

I am safe, and out of trouble now. :) At a time I realized how it feels ...
    Water, water, every where,
    Nor any drop to drink.
Thank God that electricity, telephone and water came back within a few hours of my water stock exhausted.
