Live Bald Eagle Nest Cam

So far they got fish for later. A new stick in the bill of the parent and some sort of hairy thing to the right.
They don't seem to feed the chicks much at one time. Just enough to shut them up.

Thought I'd stop in before it got too dark; 8:10pm edt (00:10UTC).

I counted 8 fish and one was floppin' about:

They gotta be smelling the carrion and pretty soon the chicks will be feeding themselves.....

I think the skunk was moved down wind.
Mon and Dad are seeing if the chicks will try and feed themselves without the help of Mom and Dad.

They sure won't starve. They have more food than I have in my fridge. And I don't have yummy fish.

The chicks are doing some serious growing. Reminds me of my children. We used to make them wear new clothes home from the store to ensure they, especially my son, wore them before they outgrew them.

The two Hanover eaglets are much bigger and downier than the three Decorah eaglets, everyone; I found a site that doesn't have the ads, just click the starter: Decorah Eagle Cam I tried embedding the ustream here, but it will show the ads then, not if you go to the link and start the player.





It's an interactive cam and every now and then you see someone changing the zoom and view.
