This is pretty much a joke. The questions are far too easy. PhD seems to be default.

I didn't want to say it, but this was my thought as well. I got PhD and thought, aren't these questions things everyone should know? Or at least those with a High School education.

I'll buy that. I have only a B.S. (you all know what that also means) and I also got a PhD (in this case, Piled Higher and Deeper). But, then again, the people who frequent (haunt?) Seven Forums are more knowledgeable than most people.

An example of a new word I recently heard: Click-bait.

Someone's getting paid to get you to click through all of the hopelessly easy questions, knowing that if they are easy, you are more likely to go for at least one more click as it plays to your vanity. It's right out of Pavlov's playbook.
Good point. At least I habitually block cookies.

I don't know. Some of the recent High School grads I've seen would have flunked this test. Also, non-USA citizens would have been somewhat handicapped.

What do you mean by that. As a non-US citizen I object. In all education comparisons of the industrialized countries I have seen, the US always comes in as #10 of 10. Education is not a strength of the US society.

I was hoping the questions were random for all, with an increasing level of difficulty when I posted this link and a list how many right/wrong answers at the end of the quiz would have also been nice.

It's not the level of education I was referring to (and, sadly, I believe U.S. education to be lousier than what you said). The test has some U.S. specific questions in it that U.S. citizens would be more likely to be familiar with.

If it makes you feel any better, I consider you to be very knowledgeable and intelligent.
