Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

    Whose picking it up?

I work at Wal-Mart overnight shift, and today at 12:01AM the Electronics Dept was effing NUTS! seemed like more than 100 people showed up on time all with COD MW2 in hand.

And here I am walking in to break-time wishing I had my freaking paycheck NOW and being involved in my first ever Midnight Release but NO! I have to wait till Thursday morning for my paycheck .

I'll be getting it for PlayStation 3

    My PSN ID is Alex_Tebo89

This will be my first COD game since COD2: Big Red One on Xbox. I had Modern Warfare on PC and almost beat it but PC doesn't count since it lagged and ... crap.

Add me! and let's get a clan started sometime soon

Hi Alex, I think your going to find a lot of people here are not too happy with MW2. Since a lot of us are PC gamers they have killed part of it which makes it "Clan" Friendly we have a current thread going here Modern Warfare 2 and Windows 7
I myself dont own a XBOX or PS3 and will not be buying one just to play this game so I will pass. I hope you find some others to join you tho it looked like a really good game, but to me its now a Single player console port with mouse support, and those always are a fail in my book.

I think the reason why PC games are dying is because every freaking game that comes out requires a more powerful computer than...let's say...just came out last week.

GTA4 (even though shady coding), definitely proved that perspective on PC's.

Consoles have same hardware for 5 years at times and push out the SAME graphical quality as PC's can. Now, I don't give a damn about 3 new blades of grass that show up on high-end gaming computers compared to console ports graphics.

I can understand where you are coming from there, but I dont buy into the whole you need to upgrade your pc to play games, yes tons of pc games have to have the hights FPS in a game Im not one of them.
As for GTA4 was a horrid console port you can tell by the poor coding just another company trying to cash in quick and it bit them big time.
Consoles are great for games since the devs know the hardware and can write the same code, but for people like me that travel I can't take a console and tv everwhere I go but I can take my laptop with me. I have been hearing about PC gaming dieing for over 12 years and thats another one I dont buy into as long as there are PC someone will create games for them, due to money, if there is money to be made then people with go for it.
The only thing we see if companies like I.W. running from PC stating piracy is the issue so they create a console port and when sales tank they blame the piracy and then on the next game they can cut the PC verison out of it.
I do have to say Im really down about this I was looking forward to MW2 being such a big fan of all the C.O.D. games, it looks like i might have to stop over my brother-in-laws and play it on the Xbox. I just hope this is not a sign of things to come.

I agree completely with Xeno. I was looking forward to MW2, but haven't been ever since they announced no dedicated servers, no to mention all the rest of the stuff that has been announced.

IW has really farked over the PC community. I won't be buying it.
