Windows 10 comes out in a few days. Anyone moving to Windows 10?

Windows 10 (right now) is free on Windows 7, Windows 8 and 8.1. Anyone moving there, or staying on their current system? I know I am. :)

I've already been running it as my main PC OS for months, however I did leave the dated Windows 7 years ago.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

I recently ordered a new Windows 10 Desktop computer, should arrive next week. I will support Microsoft's new OS, so will be spending most of my time over there. However, I still use Windows 7 on a couple of my older machines, so I'll be staying here, as well. Windows 7 Lifecycle ends 2020, so this OS has a few good years left. Hopefully, I will, too! :)

So, about 8 months ago, I got around to building a new computer to replace the cheap prebuilt that I had been using until the power supply burst into flames (how's that for a cautionary tale about buying cheap prebuilts?). I didn't particularly like the idea of having to freshly install Windows 7...

Hi, after searching profusely for someone with a legal copy of Windows 7 N edition I'm giving-up. This is a "charity case" I've taken on and knew better to get involved with, but how do you say "no" to parents? So now I have to re-install it looks like. I want this over with. What is the...

wlm folders lost in moving from windows ten back to windows seven
I accepted windows offer of free upgrade from 7 to 10. Bad move. Didn't like it AND my computer now ran very slowly & did unusual things! But the email folders in WLM were all there following the shift. Decided to go back to Windows 7 - did this and ALL folders in WLM disappeared. In these is...

Just purchased Windows 8 Pro. Moving to Windows 8 forum!
This has been a marvelous forum, and I've loved everyone's helpful feedback/questions/answers/advice. But I just went to my local staples and purchased the on sale Windows 8 Pro, and will be passing on my Windows 7 Ultimate to my fathers new computer (I have yet to build). Have a great future!
