Anyone have experience with any of these?

Its me! I know its been awhile, but its been an extremely busy year for this old carnie. A good year too I must add. So good in fact that I'm treating myself to a new machine. As some of the members here will remember, my main machines are laptops due to my travel. My current machine (Asus G74Sx, see spec.s) is getting a little long in the tooth though still working like new.( I looked at Asus machines just because I cannot praise them enough for their robustness. Very few laptops have gone through what I've put my Louise through............. yes I named my machine Louise .)

Now.... I've narrowed down my selection to these following 3 machines. I have no PERSONAL experience with any of the makes and am asking for opinions on robustness, customer support, fit & finish that any of you may have. As in ..... Asus= well made but terrible support etc.

    !. Sager Custom Laptops

    2. Alienware 17 Gaming Laptop | Dell

The Sager machine is sorta in the lead with me I must admit. Does anyone know ANYTHING about them? The only drawback is theres a back order for their screens, but then the Alienware has a month delivery time.

Thank you all for any and all feedback!

Will be back contributing in November......... long season this year!

Sager is a long time brand (relatively speakeing), generally favorable opinions from my limited experience around the web/

Alienware is high end Dell, usually well regarded, but considered over priced?

Digital Storm is well regarded, but better known for desktop PCs. I have not seen anyone with a laptop from them commenting on their experiences.

Expect poor battery life regardless, lol

Thank you Bill, knew I could count on you! "Poor battery life" you say? lol I am truly used to that my friend. On my second battery already with Louise and its about toast too if you want to know the truth. (In three years!)

Just about decided on the Digital Storm machine, though the Sager is still in the running.

I'll see everyone this fall! I'm semi-retiring after this season ......... only 3/4 big fairs for me next year , so I'll be able to be here much more starting November.

    Hi,
Haven't seen any yet but I'm sure they will come but the 980ti versions of a single card instead of the sli version should be nice :)
MSI is on my list but they seem filled with crapware like most manufacture products but they are setup neat :)

I bought a Sager NP9170 almost 3 years ago and it has been an excellent laptop what I like about them is that you can order it and get your choice of CPUs and GPUs, RAM and hard drives (mine has 2) and optical drive. Here is who I purchased through Gaming Laptops - XOTIC PC - Gaming Notebooks - Custom Laptops - Custom Notebooks the purchase went flawlessly.

Is it truly necessary with 3 Titans? Not that I would complain getting this as a present but feels kinda like you should buy an 8K display or something just to make use of that overkill power.
