Sorry to upset the wheelbarrow folks. Chickens can talk, quite well as a mater of something.
LOL! True that but, unlike normal chickens that can't talk, he couldn't shut up. He was about as sharp as a bowling ball.
Yes, chickens talk
Chicken Talk
Researchers have shown that there are at least 24 different sounds chickens make and maybe as many as 30. While chickens don’t have nearly the vocabulary that us humans have, and their chicken brains don’t allow for abstract and deep conversations, they are still a very vocal and conversational critter. And if you pay attention, you can learn to understand and speak their language too.

Panic peep-Loud and insistent peep that says “Help me!”
Fear trill-Loud, sharp repeated sound that says “Don’t hurt me!”
Startled peep-Sharp chirp that sounds as startled as it is meant to be. It says “Whoa!”

What did the chicken say when it crossed the road??
No question. Don't allow the chicken to walk and talk. Nip it in the bud - nay, egg :).
I routinely boil four eggs in the Severin egg boiler, put it in the fridge inside an airtight container with the shell.. Keeps for a week but usually gets over in three days. (This photo was not specially made for this post.) It so happened that it happened today, since the container was empty..
And below, not cooked but clicked.
