    Dogs

I had dogs all my life. But now I am too old to properly train and take care of them. The first picture shows my last dogs and the last picture shows the kind of dog I would like if I could get one now.

The German Shepard in the first photo reminds me of the one I once had. She acted like she was stupid but she actually was as stupid as a fox. She was great with my children and was a better mouser than any cat I ever saw. It's been thirty years since she passed on and I still miss her.

I would love to have pets again but, other than for peeves, I just don't have energy or stamina to be a responsible pet owner. There is also the issue of what to do with the pet when I travel. I settle for enjoying the pets of friends.

Yeah, the traveling is a real problem especially going to Europe. And a 200 pound animal including the box is not cheap either. There is no flat fee for overseas - at least last time I checked.
