Call from Windows Technical Support (again)

Call from Windows Technical Support (again).

These boys never give up. Got two calls from them so far today, fourth call this week.

As I had time to kill I decided to engage the caller - again. I try to waste their time until they hang up (it's a game for me). Earlier this week one guy finally said "Go **** yourself" and hung up.

This last call I asked him why he is spying on me but that wasn't enough. I finally asked him "Does your mother know what you are doing?"

That did it - now he really got flowery with "Don't ever talk about my mother! Go *** yourself you ***** **** stupid American" then he hung up.

Maybe next time I'll ask him what he's wearing...

    Regards,

These guys never call me. If they did, I would crank up a Linux OS and have some fun.

I had one call from them about a month ago. I kept misunderstanding what they said. They were getting very upset with me. It's quite fun to mess with these people! I wish they'd call me more often.

Yup I've done that - wasted 20 minutes of his time. Even got bumped up to a "senior technician".

Started out with the keyboard. Mind you, I started PC computing on the old IBM clicky keyboard (one of the best ever made!) and that does not have a "Windows" key. And so we continued...
    He: "Click the Windows key."
    Me: "What's that"
He: "Look at your keyboard - it's on the left next to the Control key"
    Me: "You mean Alt?"
He: "No, the Windows key. It looks like a flag."
    Me: "What flag? USA?"
He: "No, like the Windows flag. Click the Windows flag key."
    Me: "No such thing."
He: "Look at the bottom row of keys: Control, Windows, Alt, space bar. See?"
    Me "No."
He: "What do you mean? What do you have? Read them to me left to right."
Me: "Control, Alt, space bar, Alt, Control."
    He: "Can't be, look again."
This went on for several minutes. After the "senior technician" got on I told him I use an original IBM keyboard - he had no idea, so then we started to use the start menu run search box (but I was booted into Linux).
    He: "Click the Start button."
Me: "I don't have a button called Start."
He: "Hold your mouse over the button at the lower left of your screen - see the Start label?"
    Me: "I get Menu."
This went on for a long time. He finally asked what Windows I was using. "Windows? I don't use Windows, I'm using Linux Mint."

"Why are you wasting my time, a** ****." Click.

    That one was fun.

Great work, the longer you can keep them at it, the less time they have ripping off others

So what is it that "they" are trying to achieve?

    Hack your system?
