Thanks John good to meet you too. I was always playing something or the other from the day I was born so it ended up being a natural progression to the guitar. Music can be made by other means which don't always produce notes such as dedicating time to help people as you and others do here and I'm sure in real life so it might not be a guitar but you still make a different kind of music

Yes mate my son Tim he chose to play music at his first school and I was gobsmacked to learn it was the sax so $2500 of Yamaha tenor down the track (a lot of money in them days) he did have a few lessons but he is just a natural. That was followed by an acoustic and very shortly by a el cheapo Strat and I used to drive him nuts getting him play he intro to Stairway to Heaven LOL!!
But he doesn't play anything now which I think is a crime for such a talent.
Me I reckon I could belt out something on some drums perhaps but the neighbours and in the past the ex - you know what I mean LOL!!
Oh and me a few months ago I just used the worst pic LOL!!

Thanks John. I'm sure your son will get back to it one day as once we start it's hard to drop it completely. Stairway to Heaven was the 2nd song I learned to play and still play it as it's timeless but now I mostly play my own compositions. Drums tend to make people either join in or run away but mostly they run away
Regards
Shimon
