    Scammers are back.

Just had a phone call from a lovely fellow called Craig Alex from the Licencing Department. He gave me my licencing number, well so he said and it's for all the computers in the house.

He was getting very irate with me because I was acting dumb (no comment from the back there) he said he was going to shut my network down so I couldn't use any of my computers.

I strung him along a bit and asked for phone number, name, address etc. and he said if I phoned they'd tell me all I wanted to know then I could get back to him. Apparently I was a security risk.

I'll give you all his name and number as I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to check they're not a risk.

    Craig Alex, work number MG12
    Licensing Authority Computers
    Victoria Street
    Cardinal Place
    LW2 2GG

I'm sure I got all that right, there was a lot of noise coming from wherever he was and I didn't turn the TV off while talking to him. Oops he just phoned me back to see if I'd phoned.

It's been a while since I had one of these calls, got to go things to do before he closes my network down.

Hi John, this is the number he gave me 02035190336. I've not bothered trying it and just noticed I spelt scammers wrong in the title.

Even the Postcode is garbage Joan: W2 2GG - Check My Postcode

No such code as "LW" in UK, nearest W22 and that is defunct. More proof that even scammers are dumbing-down.

It does ring then, wasn't sure if I'd taken it down correctly, it wasn't easy to understand him.
