    Mechanical keyboard thread (Revived!)

So in the past couple of month I've really gotten interested in mechanical keyboards, and i'm planning to get one in the future. But one thing i do wonder, what mechanical keyboards do you guys in 7F have?

I have two of these and I very pleased with them.
I use to have pain when typing a lot but with these keyboards the pain has gone away. I use the blue keys.

If you are a gamer Das now has those also. I'm not a gamer so I haven't tried the Division Zero keyboards.

I have used many keyboards in all price ranges and I personally prefer Das keyboards. Money well spent.

    Just one of many videos.

Ooo DAS keyboards, i really like those. My favorite DAS would be the 4C Ultimate, i'm a big sucker for blank keycaps. Also that's one HUGE thing with mechanical keyboards, no finger/wrist strain.

I have updated my post with a video.

Other keyboards would give me pain from the back of my hands to my elbows when typing a lot. The Das solved that problem; no more pain.

Both of my Das keyboards work well in USB 2.0 and 3.0. Some keyboards don't do that.
No drivers to install. They work off of the Windows 7 provided drivers.

One keyboard has a 12 ft. cable extension and it cause Zero problems.

    I have a Logitech G15:

    And a Logitech G710+:

I love them both. The G15's are hard to find these days. You have to get them off of eBay at exorbitant prices, but they truly are a marvel to type on.

But if you're looking for a good reliable mechanical keyboard that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, try the G710+

Ooo, a G15 and a G710+, awesome keyboards! The Cherry MX Browns are quite comfy, and i like them alot. But i prefer the G710 with the blues, because the blues are great for typing.

I have a Quickfire Rapid with MX green's and PBT Doubleshot Bi-color key caps (love the texture). Had a RX-9000 as my first mech board with MX blue's but wanted ten keyless and heavier switches. I run mine off PS/2 for NKRO and it frees up a usb port. Had a G15 v2 and gutted it for the screen.

Ah that's awesome. The Quickfire series keyboards are probably my favorites. I love the Reds, Blues and Browns. I want a Quickfire series keyboard but there are no cheap mechanical keyboards

If you want to get into the keyboard hobby cheap is a slander word, no I'm joking but yeah my key caps cost more than I payed for the board on massdrop! If you want a decent built full size to start that's rgb and you do not mind it having non cherry switches then take look into the Havit boards.

    Video might have language.

I mean, my issue is that i want a Cherry MX keyboard, and i don't really care if it is TKL or has no backlighting. I know the QPad MK-50 is a perfect budgetkeyboard but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Preferred would be the Gateron Clears but i know no keyboard that has Gateron Clears.
