Nice welcome

Ive not popped by till now as Win 7 still isnt my main OS ive not really got into the "nuts and bolts" of it yet , so didnt really feel id have anything to offer at the moment . That said theres plenty of other stuff to get my teeth into here

I have 7 and i will install it eventually , i was part of the beta program in the later stages and liked it alot but not sure if it has anything to offer me at the moment (actually im just too lazy to go through the whole format thing )

Oh and i got a new badge cheers for that

Im off too see who i can annoy . ttfn

Moving 7 to 8
Folks: My original PC was equipped with Vista-32, and upgraded it to Seven-32. Now I am thinking of moving to Eight-32/64 onto a new PC but utilizing the cheaper Eight upgrade. Can it be done? The steps I think I need to perform are as follows: Eight-32 Run the sysprep utility.

Moving Favorites
I have my favorites in my E drive and don't remember putting it there but I would like to have it back where it belong. I hope you don't tell me to go to regedit because I moved them without going there. I just can't remember because I'm getting old.

Moving to 64-bit - some questions.
Based on a previous post I am seriously considering a move to 64-bit (I now have 8GB of RAM). I have done my due diligence and scoured the MS sites, checked hard and software compatability using the download and the website. Is there anything else I need to be aware of? In general terms (I know...

Moving from 32-bit to 64-bit
I'm looking to buy a PC that comes with Windows 7 Pro 32-bit pre-installed. I want to wipe that and do a fresh install with 64-bit. First, will the license work with both? Second, how would I go about getting the 64-bit version?
Installation & Setup
moving folders
I feel dumb for asking this, but I'm sick of being frustrated with it. How the hell do you move folders around in my documents? Like all I wana do is change the order of them but it won't let me.
