Proscan Android Questions

Someone gave me on old Proscan Android tablet. Plt8235Gxx-xxx

Anyway to update to a current version. Current Android version is 4.1.1 Kernel is 3.0.8?

Is there an app that will allow live youtube streaming with the 4.1.1 version?

I am having trouble with both windows 7 & Linux mint 18.1 try to get bluetooth to work. It won't connect to windows 7 sp1. Also, in Linux mint it will connect but says you need another browser to browser the files.

Thank for your help in Advance.

You can try using custom ROMs with that device, though it's a matter of luck. You may have a chance of bricking the device so do not forget to make backup of the ROM that came with that device too.

You should be able to watch any live streams from youtube without any problems.

I've got a question though it's somewhat related to YouTube.

Does YouTube still support tablets? I've noticed I couldn't choose 720P quality on my tablet (Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite). I can only choose the quality to a maximum of 360P.

I've heard complaints from some people that they've removed HD quality playback just last year.
