    americancritic

Hello I'm sorry as I don't know who to talk to, it's about my Dad who on your site is americancritic. My Dad lost his battle with cancer three weeks ago in Phoenix, AZ, Dad left me four large journals and as I was going through them he had wrote many things about your site and called you his family. I am the youngest of all the kids as I am 17. I want to keep his membership with you open as I would love to pick up where he left off.

Since I now have his computer and it has the same IP address when logging in I don't know if it can be changed or not. I'm not real smart with computers but I know enough to move around so to speak.

So is there anyone who can let me know if I can keep dads account and under his name americancritic.

Thank you all for your time and friendship with him.

    Danny...

Danny, we are sorry for your loss.

We have no issue with you continuing to access the account Either as is, or if you wish to change the user name this is also possible.

I hope you get as much from the account as your father obviously did :)

Thank you everyone, I was wondering if there is someone who goes by the name Rich46, I might be wrong about the site issue but if he is a member would you please let him know as my Dad says he was his best friend on the forum.

Also could you please let me know what the forum does as I have not had the chance to learn anything yet. Is there anything I should read if so what or where do I find it. Are there any do's and don'ts, are there any rules that I can read. Any and all help will be gratefully appreciated...

    Thank you again.

    Hi Danny,

Sorry about your dad, I know he was off and on the forum in the last few years, I thought he said he had beaten the cancer at one point, I'm really sorry for your loss.

Yeah here is Rich's page, I know they were close friends, richc46's Seven Forums Profile @richc46

The forum is basically a place where people come and get help or give help with their computers and hang out and share ideas and stuff.

    Here are the RULES

This FAQ section will help you out too.

You can just ask questions too, everybody likes to help.

Derekimo I think it was due to his cancer he always told us he did not feel good, plus the break up, my Mom's fault, maybe she just did not know how to handle what he was going through. Mom and Dad were married 30 years when she started to act out these things.

I do not know if I posted this in the right area of the forum or not. I am sorry if I posted in the wrong place. I read the rules and the FAQ and thank you very much for your help.

If I need help on the forum who do I turn to, is it one person I direct my questions to if so who.

Yeah, sorry, I know things get pretty rough. You're welcome. You don't have to ask anyone in particular just ask, someone will answer or point you to someone else. Everybody is pretty helpful.

Danny, I am sorry to hear about your Dad. I am proud to think that that thought so highly of me, but he was loved by everyone. I have notified others and he will be missed and he will receive many prayers. Whatever your religious belief be assured, he is happy now and still looking after you.

Danny, this an awesome forum to learn about the Windows Operating Systems. If you have an interest just come, read and learn. If you have something to contribute, you can also, sign up and make comments with your own profile. I am sure that the members here will look forward to your posts just as we did with your Dad.
