Are there anybody else scripting in windows batch

Are little like a nerd like scripting mostly in Linux shell but the new laptop don't like Linux. .

Win 7 various editions

I used to write a lot of batch files in DOS.

I have been out of the computer maintenance field
for several years and recently decided to return.

I don't do scripting currently, but am wanting to learn again.

Plan to learn Linux eventually.
