That is very true. :) And yes, other sources reported that he didn't like to give credit to others.

Either way, how many people have a programming language named after them, let alone one that's sponsored by the Department of Defense? Geeky enough for moi!
She's still a genius and a true nerd in my book. :) Geek, though, we can only guess if she would be one had she been born in more modern times.? I wonder if she would have been working for Microsoft programming Windows 7, working in the open-source community, or working for the government stopping cyber-attacks? :)

A nerd would know this. A geek might not. All geeks are nerds, not all nerds are geeks. This was the grave mistake detected.
i know you aren't being 100% serious about this, but doesn't this statement contains at least one logic error?

if all geeks are nerds, then all geeks would know....

I am into self-reference and apostrophe theory. The post is an apostrophic self reference. And that is the grave mistake detected.

What about braille, does that count as reading, or a different way of communication? Assuming anything worthwhile was being communicated? Is that the same as the sight of one eye blinking?

In apostrophe theory, the meaning of a message exists in its reception, not the source. That is a fr'action of a definition, otherwise i'mpossible to define. It is the si'n of ommission.

Braille is a set of arbitrary symbols used to communicate an idea. No different from any other writing system. Braille is a transmission medium. The missing 'ink if you will.
