Intel bundles CPUs with SSDs for discount
Intel wants to get ahead in the emerging SSD market and seems to believe they can do it by going after channel partners as opposed to individual customers. Starting with the Core i7, Intel has been
offering steep discounts on hardware prices for vendors who will pick up both a Core i7 CPU and SSD hard drives.

All I know is I took my friends advice and threw the Core i7 into my new build. The Core i7 920 (stock 2.67GHz) overclocked (WITH AIR) to 3.8GHz

Yeah, when I saw what the Core i7 can do I decided that I'd wait until I upgraded my system that I just built in May - Core i7 EE 965 and 12 GB of RAM on a new eVGA x58 mobo coming home within a couple of months....

Hah dude i've had a Core 2 Duo coupled with a Nvidia 8600GT for a long time. I feel its about time i got ahead of the curve
