It is time for these to start disappearing. Think of how many virus this will stop from infecting those who seem to think these sites are cool because they offer free software, etc.

Isoh***? Probably. This is sad. They take everyone for banks with unlimited funds where we have to pay 20$ for an artist's album where there is only ONE good song. This is rediculous.

Yes, mininova shared illegal content. But I personally do not agree about the closing. The only think that it does is to create opportunities to other sites develop a similar system and gather users.
And BTW, Pirate bay is up and running very well, I would say.
If downloading a US series episodes is illegal, then yes, I will continue to do illegal downloads, since those series are not aired in Brasil, where I live and I want to be able to watch them. Since the original broadcasters/producers (like Showtime, for example) are not present in Brasil, and they do not allows us with Brasillian IPs to watch from the site, people will keep downloading it.
Also, many (the majority actually, except EA games) of the game companies do not sell officially in Brasil the games DVDs nor they allow us with International Credit Cards to buy from the US site, we will keep doing it.
And when they do sell, like Microsoft, they sell a Windows 7 Ultimate for R$ 700. That is 1,4 time the minimum salary in Brasil. It would be the same as Windows 7 costing US$ 1000 in US.. That is just ridiculous.

This sucks. Another one of the big ones down None of can say that we havent at some point used mininova and this is a sad day. But they cant kill us all. Pirating will continue, no matter what they will do. It has grown to the point of no return with over 500 different trackers and/or torrents sites over the net, including the private trackers and Warez (Downloading from RS, MU, MF, HF etc.)

So if you live in the states then downloading on air tv shows is illegal? I read that there were no laws on that yet since it was free trade to record to VHS or DVD and share as well as DVR and TiVO
