Went For A Walk Today And Found??

Well me and the wife went for a walk on the Okanagan Rail Trail If you ever come to my neck of the woods take this walk or ride a bike Anyway! As we were walking along the lake I looked down and seen the peace of wood and thought this looks interesting. I picked it up and seen it immediately! I showed it to the wife and she did to! So I seen it and the wife seen it... What Do You See???? "Two exposures to choose from"

I see a camel with rubbery lips. 2nd photo definitely has better contrast.

I often pick up twigs that have that "eye," looking like dogs or seals. The "eye" is where it branched out. When the branch is broken off, you see the knot is compressed like that.

You would be surprised what a tree branch can fool or confuse

It's interesting how different people can see the same thing differently. I initially saw an eagle but, after looking again, I could also see the camel. I like to call things like that optical "delusions".

Lance, I would like to suggest checking the piece for insects and borers before adding it to your home permanently.
