Prayers needed

My sister works at a nursing home in the activities department going to the stores, playing games and other things with the residents. Well, the place is now on lock down with several covid-19 infected people and many of the staff have contracted it along with my sister. She is at a hospital in an air tight room and her breathing ability is very, very poor. They made mention that they may have to put her out and use a ventilator. She's very scared and is afraid she won't wake up. I asked her if they mentioned the medication for malaria which they have but she's not wanting to take it right now out of fear of side effects. I told her that she needs to do what the doctors and nurses tell her so she can get better. My mom and dad are worried sick and my mom was crying and saying crazy things about wanting to take her place instead. My family including me have prayed. And I'm hoping you could offer a prayer as well so that my sister gets better, goes back to her job and helps the residents she cares for so very much. When she gets out of the hospital I'm going to give her a big ol' hug and buy her what ever she wants. She's into all things angels and has many angel things in her house including an angel statue outside her door. In fact, my mom asked God to send her an angel upon birth which I find is really odd. Her name is Carie and if you could offer some prayers for this marvelous woman that would be great.

Thank you.

Aaron, Carie's brother.

I read your post this morning, and I have created a meditation for you and your sister, that I practised all day. It is now evening (GMT). It is not quite what you asked for, but it is the most positive thing I can do in such uncertain times. It is difficult offering prayer or meditation for someone you do not know; I guess, if I know you, then I would assume she is like you. And that is how I centred my meditation. Then I included others I knew who have self-isolated, for various reasons, including my younger cousin, who reportedly also has the coronavirus symptoms.
Honestly, I am dismayed at your sister's nursing home, for letting the virus spread. Did they not heed your Governments advise? The worse thing that can happen for your sister, would be for her to panic, as panic can result in triggering trauma, which drains the patient. The young, and those without other health conditions, have a better immunity. Japan and China have trailed HIV drugs that was used in Africa, and results have been positive, but not conclusive. If your sister is in medical care, then she is already in good hands; in my country there is no test kits available yet, so people are being diagnosed over the phone, which is not very satisfactory at all. I wish our Governments can come up with a vaccine, then we all will benefit. Until such time, we each individually have to conquer our fears, first, before we have enough reserve to protect us from such an invisible threat. Hope that helps.

Thank you so much.

Yeah, the nursing home should have had this under control a lot better then they did. They have a lack of leadership problem there.

To make matters worse, my mom who's over 60 with diabetes works there as the administrative assistant so she works in the front lobby at the desk. They told her she's not at risk like the rest of the rest of the building. I was taken aback by that because I know damn well this stuff spreads like wildfire. As of yesterday she's home now until further notice. My mom was being really suborn too about not listening to us and my cousin who's a nurse about staying home. It was really a catch 22 due to money and insurance issues. But thankfully right now she's staying home.

They are now giving my sister the anti malaria drug so hopefully her lungs will clear up in no time and she can go home.
