Lordbob, wait until you have to write a paper for a PhD in Physics, and it cannot be more than two-hundred-fifty pages, and no less that one-hundred-twenty-five-pages with no more than ten pages of that being resources. And, along with that you are down to the last two weeks with at least fifty pages left to write. . .och (remember those days well; even after two strokes).
And the paper has to also be all in APA style formatting.
And if you unluck out and get an egocentic professor and your ideas don't coincide well, if it's a normal course and not the actual dissertation, expect a B- for the course.
I'm glad I stopped after the MBA. If I get extremely bored and take any more classes at all it will likely be some graduate level certificate program classes on non-profit management. Texas A and M is trying toget me on-board, but I still am convinced many college programs are a dime a dozen and it's a money making machine.
I've had a week to do a bunch of coursework. First of all I had to write a lottery program in Java, I had make two - One using arrays, the other using linked lists. I've done this.
I have a website to make that incorporates HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML with XSL. The website needs to include a "maze" type game written in JavaScript.
I then have my systems architecture coursework to do, which has all sorts of stuff like a bunch of numbers and I have to draw up a table that shows them being held in an 8-bit memory location and fill in the binary representation of them in Sign and Magnitude, Two's Complement and Excess 128. Then work out binary patterns of numbers stored in single precision IEEE 754 floating point, then do the opposite, so convert numbers from this to decimal, with various other tasks.
Finally, I have my discrete mathematics coursework to do, which is well...I don't know where to start.
