Tar and Cement - Verdelle Smith = one hit wonder. It really was to bad, she did have a good voice (politics were her down fall).

I used to love that song, back in the day. Was 22 then.
We have quite a few of their "licorice pizzas" in a box in the shed. Should get one of those usb turntables and digitise them.
From memory, Alan Parson was involved with Pink Floyd in the very early 70's, with Dark side of the moon. This is where they became popular with the general population, instead just with people who were "in the scene".
Commonly referred to as "the good ol'days".
