Windows 7 baby ! : D

well after reading all of these posts :P

I think it all boils down to physical security, I guess as long as I keep my laptop in a safe place when I am not using it then I should be ok.

But after posting this question, I did put a password on my BIOS for the first time, I also made sure that Safe Mode was password protected as well, and finally I'm just going to use common sense. I might even look into Laptop Tracking Security Software such as LoJack.

You can never be too careful in a dangerous world such as ours lol

Anyways thanks for all your thoughts and input guys !

Again Merry Xmas and have a safe and happy 2010 !

if there is a HDD password option, enable that. It will prevent anyone from using your HDD, even if they take it out of your laptop and put it in another. Unfortunately nothing can prevent a thief from replacing your HDD and then reinstalling windows
