My point was a little different one. The fact that India educates a lot more engineers than the US or Europe will ultimately lead to a big innovation contribution by those engineers - and that is good for all of us. The chances of having top skills there is just greater than anyplace else.
Yeah, the number I remember from 2004 was nearly 50 million graduates - that is more than most European countries have inhabitants. And here is a quote from the Oxford University Magazine: " A well-educated and youthful India will be a powerful global competitor - not just to provide call centres and back-office services, but as a source of innovation and ideas ".
