    I agree...

Regardless of whether you have something to hide or not, it is morally wrong.

It's akin to me building a house and selling it - but intentionally neglecting to mention I have installed hidden cameras everywhere.

Well, what I saw was some guy on TV claiming that MS put something in that could be helpful to the NSA. He did not provide any evidence or proof that it was an actual NSA backdoor, or that it was "bad" in any way.

I've also seen people on TV saying that crop circles are real alien artifacts, that the moon landing never occurred, and that the world will end in 2012. I rank their credibility as being equal with this claim.

Let me be clear. I am more than willing to believe that governments want to control and dominate their serfs, ermm, I mean citizens. The current "healthcare" debacle in Washington D.C. is a perfect example of this desire. I just haven't seen any proof this natural tendency to enslave us has extended to Windows...

If you watched that video fully, they did admit to putting some kind of backdoor in the code of th Windows 7.

Since there's no evidence that the NSA had MS build a backdoor into Windows, I decline to get my panties in a twist over this.

MS, Apple and Linux all have worked with the NSA to harden their OS's, to make them more secure.

On the other hand, there is no evidence that the NSA hasn't had MS, Apple and Linux build in backdoors either.

Just to be safe, I, for one, welcome our new alien lizard overlords....

Well, if they're wanting full control, they are getting there with all the unconstitutional bills being passed under our noses.

Off topic, but as for the crop circle, there are some crazy designs that in no way someone can pull off with some ropes and a board. I've witness UFOs a couple of times in my life and used to be a skeptic of "alien" stuff, but to think we're the only one in this huge universe is being really small minded.

    Vendetta,

We are in full agreement regarding the first sentence! As far as aliens go, I don't see any reason why there couldn't be life elsewhere in the universe, I just don't think they would choose to communicate with us by drawing designs in crop fields or abducting some poor schmucks from rural areas.

I could be wrong, of course...

    Respectfully yours,

    Ed
