i was there for both of those events (charleston air force base). as far as the snow in the lowcountry, luckily for me, i had just came from alaska so i had experience in snow driving. unlucky for me, however, was that EVERYBODY else in the lowcountry had absolutely NO experience driving in the snow!

Lucky you, It's not really bad here at the moment but I prefer hot. It'll be 37f(2.7c) min and 55f(12.7c) high here with a bit of rain.

Christmas is now long past, but you couldn't tell from looking out the window. It is snowing again...the second snow of the year. It isn't too much thicker than before, but the snow is still falling. This time it laid down a sheet of ice before it began and the trees look something like is sometimes seen on Christmas pictures.

I had planned to do some shopping today, but haven't gone outside because of the ice. I have a snow cleat on my cane, but not for my shoes. Chances are that the snow itself would keep me from slipping, but I may postphone my shopping.

I'm kinda of glad that didn't hit Dallas. I wasn't really in the mood to deal with people who can't drive in the stuff.

Well, here in CO we have not had a time since about Halloween that ther has not been altleast patches of snow on the ground. But the storms have been getting less in intensity, so, that might change if we do not get a good storm here soon.

Christmas is long gone, but looking out the patio door, it doesn't look like it. It is snowing heavily, when it should be relatively warm and windy. I'm no longer in the Christmas spirit, and need to go to the store, but I'm not in the mood to chip the ice off of the windshield.
