Why do several people sign their post by putting their name on the bottom while they have a sig(nature) under it?

I really don't understand =o

That is not really a serious question?
Why put Avatars. Why attach standard messages as a signature. Its just a bit i fun. Totally uneccessary, agreed. Does it bother you a lot?

It's basic letter writing composition.

Just because a signature is automatic doesn't mean they kick the habit that's been drilled into them since highschool english.

If you check a few of BareFoot Kid's post's, he does make a few

, you will actually notice that they are often subtley different - The Later Ted is the same but the smiley differs with his Mood or the mood of the post
