I like that feature too. Its color contrast also is easier on the eyes. Working on the computer for 8+ hours does get tiring and white blinds a bit to much. Wish Google had a way to choose a light gray theme. I know I know people will say igoogle but thats annoying. I also set seven forums to a slighty less white color.

Brightness 300 cd/m2
Contrast Ratio 30000:1(DC)

thats for my monitors so I should try lowering it but I just change the colors for some things. Basically whites are really bright and blacks are really dark. Good for movies though.

This is not a problem now. I just want to put it on record for the non-believers. Some time ago - maybe a year or so, someone posted online that she could not bring up Wikipedia when she did searches. No one believed her. Everyone kept saying she was doing something wrong. News! It...

Slow search Engine
I just upgraded a Dell XPS 410 with a new HD, graphics card, and Windows 7 Home Premium. I also boosted the RAM from 1gb to 4gb. I changed the default Bing search engine to Google. In my homepage in IE, I can access favorites with no problem. If I try to use the google search engine to get to a...

Windows 7 search engine
First post here. I am really surprised not to see more discussion of this, and I have not found any sort of acceptable alternative since starting with Windows 7 in March of 2011 I simply do not understand the Windows 7 search engine capabilities. Perhaps the best way to highlight this is with...

win7 search engine
I always use the search engine a lot, and in win7 I can't manage to find out how to search inside files and folders. Need to search for specific strings in textfiles. Is this feature not implemented in win7 or is it just me that can't find it?
