    Anyone else on here who has or is working on a CIS degree? Just curious.

    I just wrapped up a comp sci degree from Georgia Tech in May. I think that may be considerably different from CIS though, not entirely sure. What do you study in CIS?

    Well, I am starting out at the local community college.

    Here is a link to the basis for their program. Computer Information Systems - ACCC

    I decided to start with them since they have an articulation agreement with Stockton State College here in NJ for the BS degree in the same area.

I ran sfc / scannow and it says the resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the cbs.log how do I use that information to fix my computer
Lately, I've heard some people say that the Unix code is more secure than the Windows code and that the Windows code has many holes and bugs in it. Before, I always thought Unix systems (for example, Mac) were less likely to get infected by viruses only because they had a lower market share....
