Even in this terrible weather my school is still open!

Anyone have that terrible news that 200 school in your region of the UK were closed but guess what.....yours is not on the list.

Yeah so guess what happens at school then... I forget my homework and have two tests lol.

You no what I say: "Shut the flipping school" because I swear were gonna have to have nuclear fallout before this school shuts lol.

How much snow did you guys get?

We had about +14 inches here in Pennsylvania, and my school only had a delay...

You should be happy that you have the opportunity to learn. It is terrible when schools close for any minor glitch. By your theory, kids in colder areas of the world would not go to school half of the year.

it's more of a regional thing, in tn schools often close over an inch of snow because many roads become very dangerous to drive, like the one i lived on the only 3 roads that would put you on it were all narrow and had long very deep ravines without guard rails. but really it sounds like your real problem is you just weren't prepared for school ignoring your academic responsibilities.

in the stone age when i went to school i remember having to walk to school in 3' snow drifts and howling blizzards the school boiler had packed up, we had to sit with coats on and us girls were not allowed to wear trousers !we were called pupils and not students, students went to university, ah the good ole days
