ah well...... better safe than sorry
Yes I agree better safe than sorry but do you ever think that the actually virus is millions of people sending out this email to everyone you know. Thats why we have the updated email virus software.
I used to monitor mail servers in a large University in California. OK it was the University of California. LOL. When a message like this started to spread with very little facts it was quickly seen and monitored because of the increased incoming and outgoing traffic on the mail servers. We did have special software that monitored this type of emails by subject line or content. Can't tell you anymore I would have to kill you. lol

It is kind of funny how many versions of these emails appear over 10 years.

    Hi there
Don't you have a "Return to Sender" type of function without even opening this type of Junk.

Why on EARTH would anyone open an email with "Email Server Report" as a title.

Just goes to show that most of my rants against the uselessness of AV software is true -- the worst enemy on a PC is THE USER when they open stuff like this.

If I don't know the sender I don't even BOTHER to open email -- it gets deleted immediately without even being opened.

    Cheers

You know...these scam emails would be so much more believable if they were spelled correctly...

Now I know not everyone spells great but even in the memos from my College have to be absolutely correct in spelling, grammar and style...

Imagine an email security bulletin from the STATE! Honestly...proves how lazy scammers are...
