This should be a bit comical...

    Grease.

Growing up in the middle of nowhere, we got like 4 channels, and one of them showed the same things over and over, year after year. So, as a kid, I got to know this movie VERY well. Not sure why, I'm not a big fan of musicals, but it is what it is. I know it line for line, every word, every song.....it's really kind of scary.

From then until now have owned:

The soundtrack on 8-Track, Cassette, and CD
Had the VHS version of the movie 3 different times.
Have had the DVD twice now.

.......and my 15yr old hates it.

I'm very fickle and don't believe in absolute favourites. That said, I enjoyed Soylent Green inordinately and for some reason loved Schwarzenegger's Conan and Stallone's Judge Dredd.

Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky made me giggle. A lot. Must've watched it 7 times I think. At least.

Who doesn't love action flicks? Tony Jaa in Tom-Yum-Goong was fun to see. Watch this particular fight scene, it was taken in one continuous shot; no cheap camera tricks or body doubles. Friggen' awesome. As one of the comments mentions, "This scene is made even more entertaining when you realise he's just spent the last 4 minutes kicking everybody's ass only to bust into the restaurant and yell, "Where's my elephant?!" LOL.

Other than that it's mostly a jumble of barely-recalled hentai. Shrug. I don't particularly enjoy sitting down for long stretches of time just passively watching something.

I find it hard to believe that you've not seen The Wizard of Oz, as for a good number of years that seemed to be a TV favourite of both BBC and ITV at Christmas time. Indeed, if it wasn't shown you could almost guarantee that The Sound of Music would be shown instead. Sometimes both were shown.

I haven't seen that either!!! I have Wizard of Oz currently sat on sky box to be watched! Trust me when I say there are a few things I missed out on when I was a kid!
