What? No old timers in here?

Arguably the greatest of American films - Citizen Kane - by Orson Wells.

It's The story of an immensely wealthy newspaper publisher, as he is remembered by his friends and former wife after his death. It's "supposedly" based on the newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst.

What is your most favorite movie?-citizen-kane.jpg

Why I love it - The fact that its old school black and white (the movie was released in 1941), the low angle camera shots, and a really great story as well.

My "modern" day favorite - V for Vendetta - this movie always gets me thinking about the events of the former Bush Administration after the Sept 11 2001 tragedy here in America. I’m no conspiracy theorist but the movie does make you think, even though the story is set in Britain.

Plus I love the main character (V) use of words, Brilliant.

    Well, that's my two cents.

sygnus21, We watch the old movies (black and white) when they're on in the evening. Some are quite interesting!
