Windows 7: Bold Subject Lines

Bold Subject Lines

I have noticed that some (most) subject/Title: lines are bold and some are not.

What determines whether it is bold or not?

I have also noticed that I cannot rep a person if the title is not bold. The "scales" are not at the top right of the posts. I'm asking because someone gave some good advice which I found useful and I wanted to rep him but couldn't.

Not sure what you mean by some are bold and some are not. If you mean this...

Then the bold titles are threads you haven't read yet, or a new post was made in the thread and you haven't read it yet. The ones that aren't bold, you've viewed them.

That would have nothing to do with be able to give rep on or not. What would matter is is the post/thread is more than 28 days or so old, then you can't rep on them any longer. You also can't rep in the Chillout Room forum, or the News forum.

Thanks, Airbot. You correctly understood the bold vs not bold titles.

The reason I couldn't rep was because the thread was started 12-05-2009. Too bad Offsprung. :)

Formatting words in bold give words in bold and italics
Hi, I don't know if anyone here had the same problem as me, but on a particular word document, whenever I choose a sentence to make it bold, it becomes automatically bold+italics. However, the italics sign is not clicked and therefore I cannot remove the Italics. Any help on how I can solve...
Microsoft Office
I think this subject is taboo but . . . . .
I've let it slide all this time because it always said "False" but this morning it says "True" so am now a bit concerned even though everyone says "don't pay any attention to Event Viewer".
