You could load Windows ME on it, that will surely crash it!

no the coding in ME only allows a crash when you can't afford for it too, my grandmother has an old ME pc that really in all fairness she doesn't use because she has better machines, but it's loaded down with irreplaceable pictures and she has never had a single problem with it. i had to explain why ME was such a failure to her, it was her favorite windows OS.

Disassemble it with a 5 pound sledgehammer. When the pieces are as small as you can make them.. throw them all into a wood chipper.. that will get rid of the evidence. then you can just say it was stolen

Go into your bios, and turn all voltages as high as you can, that should do it (don't know if there are any failsafes for that).

Please in this day and age we must act in a green manner. First call you're local electronic recycler and if they take computers take it down for proper handling. This means that it gets shipped to China and some poor under paid pleeb has to melt all the vitals down and release cancer causing pcb's into a huge pool of sludge. Or you can read up here and other places and slowly but surely get you computer nerd cred's. At the very least when you get some bucks ahead you will have some sort of game plan for the new build or purchase....always a good thing ! Knowledge is power ! Good luck, breath deep, think, learn and have fun!
