How can I watch LIVE TV on my laptop ?

Is there a way where I can stream LIVE TV on my laptop ?

Are there any websites or subscriptions ?

Also, with Windows Media Center, what equipment is required in order to watch LIVE Television anywhere ?

    Thanks

Try Hulu: Hulu - Watch your favorites. Anytime. For free.

To view "live TV" as opposed to "Internet TV" in Windows Media Center, you would need a Compatible TV tuner card connected to an antenna. You can find TV tuner cards that work via a USB connection at several web sites and Pinnacle Systems used to be popular for them, although it has been bought by a European company. Try searching on Google for USB TV tuners and you'll find several.

    Good luck.

i've seen services like secondrun.tv and hulu and various streamers but as far as getting live tv onto a portable laptop without a usb antenna i just don't think there is a way yet. it's a shame to because i'd pay my cable company more if they offered a package where i could stream my cable subscription to my laptop via the internet when i was away from home. i do believe there are products that can do this though if im not mistaken it's what the slingbox does but idk how that ever turned out. but you could always check on it and please report your findings back here i know many people would love to be able to do the same thing.
