While you are deciding, keep in mind that enjoying what you do is as important as how much you earn. Of course, it would be great to earn a fortune doing what you love to do. However, when you reach my age and look back, it is neither the love or money that matters as much as how you feel about what you have done in life.

I may be the senior amongst you all. In another life, I had made a carreer in software with Big Blue - for 35 years. Now I just enjoy Florida in the winter and the Black Forest in the summer. - if I only could get away from those chores that she always dreams up for me - LOL.

I am currently a High School student (senior), so I get to head to college next year.

I know I want to do Engineering, and I applied as a Computer Engineer, but now I am not so sure.... Mechanical engineering is really fun too.
And working in the Tech Shop in the backend of my school has really grown, and I spend hours there after school building things....

Well, I guess I will get it figured out eventually. For now, I am just trying to get through school, and start a computer business (repair, upgrades, etc). I blame that part somewhat on these forums, fixing all these problems, haha.

Thanks Fabe. I've done a few buckles but nothing as fancy as some of those.

I always tell young folks to find something you love doing, then do it because you love doing it. Keep doing it and eventually you will get very good at it. Then someone will offer you good money to do it for them.

That really is good advice. I have had very little actual experience in the working world, but from school experiences I know how much a bad job would suck.

I am hoping I will get a cool job designing and building things, whether it be for a big company, small, or even my own.
I would love getting to build stuff everyday for the rest of my life. (And with me it would be everyday)

I think you are crazy for going up in a helicopter, much less jumping out of one.
Just kidding....much respect for what you do. I can barely swim well enough to keep myself from drowning, and I have no intention of flying.

Hey guys...I'm a student. (maybe litle to old to be a student yet, but I prolong it somehow and somewhere)
    About that women thing:
My girlfriend had a cold, and I was like talking to her "it's not that bad, baby, you aren't that sick, it's just a cold, you'll be fine and all that...(talking positive), she: "No, I'm so tired, feeling so sick..." After one hour, I was saying to her, "when you have a cold, at least a week should pass to feel better you now, just stay in warm, have your tea and vitamins", and she was like, "Oh, thanks for the support..." and smack me in the head
There are two theories for arguing with women, AND NEITHER OF THEM WORKS
