I use Gmail, mainly because of the built in translator.

I get a lot of foreign language mails and can translate them with a single click.

I use all the different email accounts for testing & comparison.

Hotmail & Live
Yahoo

Gmail
AOL
Cable Company's issued email address

I use different ones for personal, business, Forums, Junk & Spam, eBay & Paypal.
That way it keeps the emails sorted into categories, and does not over load just one account with too much unrelated stuff.

I have a hotmail account, live account, Yahoo account, and a GMail account.

I only use my GMail account. I HATE the way the other ones work.

I'm all about the GMail. I got an account when it first went into beta and have had an account since. I do keep a yahoo account and a hotmail account just so I can use msn messenger and yahoo messenger. But for mail I use Gmail.

I use Gmail now as my only mail client. I have Hotmail, Yahoo and my own domain email addresses plus the one provided to me by Virgin (when they migrate ntlworld addresses to gmail I might use it). I aggregate them all to my Gmail.

Hotmail was registered in 2000 and because it was a bit crap then I never used the web-ui, still don't even though it's better now. Yahoo was only because I had "geocities" and latterly "Flickr" accounts and I got the email thrown in.

I used to use email clients, Outlook Express->Outlook->Incredimail->Outlook and then Thunderbird. But due to a balls up whilst changing computers I figured I'd use Gmail until I got sorted out with Thunderbird again. However I never bothered.

Anything important gets backed up to my Hotmail account - just in case.

To me 'cloud' email is easier to look at from anywhere in the world. I can access all my accounts from anywhere, it's just easier to remember one accounts details.

Had to say Gmail. Use it with live mail, works ok and I have a few calendars.

What I didn't like was setting imap with live from a cpanel host. I guess it's not to bad once you figgure out exactly which folder/options to use.
