online: newegg.com
brick-and-mortar: fry's electronics
Agree with the above from Swarfega.
Also CCLonline.
They are based in Bradford, Scan have a warehouse in Bolton. Both near me.
If you live near to a place it gives a certain reassurance when making a purchase:)
99% newegg.com - Lowest prices around, No tax and free shipping most of the time.
Fry's Electronics if I need it now. (15 miles away)
You can use ebay and amazon for getting PC parts.
newegg.. but only with a disposable credit card. I don't trust any site to keep information secure any more
I use Directron.com -- The prices are about the same as Newegg or Tigerdirect. Directron is only a few miles from me so I can stop buy and pick it up.
i wish i had a computer shop nearby that was worth visiting, i've asked about it and apparently there just isn't enough of a market for it here,
The egg unless Tigers price is cheaper cause living in California I have to pay 10% tax on the egg. But I also don't like the rebate deals on Tiger. Yet they sometines have parts that the egg doesn't.If I absolutly need something now, Best Buy but only for cabels, paper or something small.
