Until it IS a phone, its not a giant iPhone Sure it may go through a phone company for service and has 3g, but that doesn't make it a phone now does it?

new changes to the app store now allow VOIP calls over 3g networks. it could be a phone, probably not comfortable to talk on, but we started out with larger cell phones.

I may have misread but I was under the impression it had no microphone.

yeah have you ever looked at the price mark up on an apple monitor... a monitor with the same size and specs from another name brand vendor is about $500-$600 less. apple can mark up items like nobody's business thats how they are able to sell the ipad so cheap. and why pc companies are gonna find competing with it on a price point is a PITA
