I just can't believe they called it the iPad, of all thinks.
it's been 48 hours or so and the maxiPad eta jokes are just getting started.
then there will be The Simpson's, South park, and soon almost every non-teckkie will be thinking that Apple is making women's hygienic products.
For all the hype lately over the "rumored Apple tablet" they should have called it the iTab. Unless they figure all the jokes as free publicity.....

It's more the whole "i" culture/ brand label that is tiresome.

Yes it was clever marketing originally, but since Apple didn't/couldn't put a copyright on the prefix usage of "i" - It has been used by so many and varying companies/products that aren't even apple related, that quite frankly - I'm sick to death of the "i" prefix.

    It's just passé.
Well most other marketing deptartments realize that and so the onslaught of "My" or "Mi" prefixes is now just ramping up. I.e. "MiFi" and such. So brace yourself!

adobe shouldn't even be crying... they can't even make a suitable 64-bit version for flash for windows.

imoh, seems like a good move for apple--they won't have that new product tied to a company (adobe) who continually makes products that makes your pc, and other web connected devices, less secure.

now if some enterprising individual or company could make a flash replacement--with 64-bit compatibility--then windows users would be all the more better.
