Oh, for the love of god, let this be real...

So I was over at IMDB today, and was perusing Bruce Campbell's page, when I noticed something. At the top of the list of movies he's done, it said this:

    Evil Dead IV (In production)

This made me very, very happy.

After looking around google though, it seems as if it may or may not be happening. The director of the series, Sam Raimi, has been very vague about it, and it pretty wrapped up with Spiderman 4. However, this popped up at a horror move site that I visit pretty regularly. Could be photoshopped, but I'm choosing to believe it's real.

Never seen 1 through 3 but I love horror movies (well, that and sci-fi) so lets hope it is real.

You've never seen Army of Darkness (the third movie in the Evil Dead series)?

Evil Dead 1 and 2 are a little closer to straight horror, but Army of Darkness is the perfect blend of horror, comedy and Bruce Campbell.

They don't ring a bell, so I am doubting I've seen them. Rarely watch movies without knowing the name first.

You should definitely check them out, especially if you like to laugh in your horror movies. Most people consider them B-movies, but Evil Dead II has often been quoted as a watershed moment for Horror-Comedies

Watch some real horror while you wait, like August Undeground or films by Umberto Lenzi, Dario Argento, Lucio Fulci, Olaf Ittenbach, Andreas Schnaas, Andreas Bethmann, Timo Rose etc etc etc.

    Bruce is the man!
I just recently saw "My Name Is Bruce" and got a good laugh out of it. He seems to have a great sense of humor, and no illusions about his place in the entertainment world. He's actually pretty good on Burn Notice too.

I agree. He's pretty much living the dream. He's a movie star, but not to the point where he gets hounded by the paparazzi all the time.

He just gets hounded by the geeks. lol

I just started watching Burn Notice last month. I downloaded the first episode, and was hooked. Just finished catching up a couple nights ago.
