Dual User Names

I appear to be recieving details of problems on my user name user( ian 234)
That are not Associated with me
Is it Possible that two Ian234 User Names exist
Any Advice on how to resolve will be gratefully Recieved

may be u have created ian234 and Ian234
(username may be case sensitive )!!!

I guess username aren't case sensitive. I can login using Dinesh and dinesh as well.
