I really was a BIG fan of ONJohn. So I'll have to say: Hopelessly Devoted to You.
I also back in the day liked Air Supply's Every Woman in the World.
Chacago has a few nice ones.
Modern Era-I like Jet's Are You Gunna Be My Girl
But Cher, Lenny Kravitz and others have some good ones.

It's fascinating to see what we all consider to be love songs.
Seems to me most "pop" songs are about love gained or love lost primarily.
There's a sub category of songs about looking for love, teen lust songs, and another about reassuring the entire universe that I will always love you.
Not many songs about being in love and what it's like.
This one is veering toward the love lost category in it's desperation and bathos.
I suppose it's like happiness and is only noticed in it's absence.
So you're either looking for it or regretting losing it or your too busy being in it to write it down.:)
