    This is being caused though by a tropical storm from the south, blowing into the east where it's cold...thus turning that precip into snow. At least that is what I heard.

    I'm just very happy to be in Michigan and having it mostly miss us. Good luck to those who do have to deal with this.

    We got a small amount of rain from this as it skipped above us, it's too warm here.

    I've seen (what I call) real snow here once in the 35 years I've been here.

    We got some heavy rain from that same system and the temp will drop into the low 40's for the next couple of morning with highs in the low 60's. I will take that over that cold, white stuff any day!

    I don't really mind the white stuff. I don't have to shovel much. Shovel 10 feet to the driveway and the plow does the rest.
